BRODY DID IT!!!!!

Brody finally slept through the night in his crib!!! ahhhhhh it was so nice. Joe and I put him in his crib at about 9:15pm and we had to wake him up at 5:45am to get him ready for grandma's house!!! Of course I was up about 5 different times checking on him to make sure he was still breathing!! LOL But I would rather do that then have him wake up!!! We finally got about 8 hours of sleep!!!!!!!

I'M ENGAGED!!!!

Yes everyone...... Joe popped the big question on New Years Eve!!! I was so suprised!! It was the cutest and sweetest thing!! He did it in front of all of my friends and the people I love!! Only my best friend knew about it and just a couple of his friends!! Everyone else there was just as suprised!!! We are not making any plans as of right now but we will think about planning in a few months!! There is just too much going on with us right now!! I will keep everyone updated though!!!! =)

I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!!

My company is laying people off left and right as of right now. My boss was nice enough to kinda give me a heads up that my position is in jeopardy. So I walk out of his office and send out a mass text letting my friends know of my situation!! I get so many responses back of "I will def. look out for you" or " Let me talk to some people for you"!! So about 3 good opportunitites came up right away!! 1 position got filled two days later before I could even get an application!! LOL But the second opportunity was a success!! I went in for an interview this morning at 7am and got hired on the spot at 7:30am! Everyone seems super nice and the best part is.... it is located about 10 min from me in Long Beach instead of about 45 from me which is right by Irvine Spectrum!!!
I can't wait to start this new journey and move up as fast as I can in this company!!!!!!!! hehe =)

Saying goodbye to Tara was super hard last Sunday! Over the past year we have become closer and closer with eachother!! We would text eachother about 50 times a day and she would come over to my house alot or I would go to hers or my parents when she lived there! It's weird with her being gone and not being able to call her and tell her to come over and hang out because Joe was at softball or soccer...OR... to call her and have her watch Brody for an hour while I cleaned the house or ran to the store!! hahaha " TARA I JUST NEED TO GET ORGANIZED REAL QUICK"!!! HAHAHAHA

Well Joe, Brody and I all miss you tons Tara and Aaron!!! Can't wait to see your faces again!!!!

I guess our text messages have gone up to 100 since you left!!! hehe

Well it's my 1st day back at work! It is def. bitter sweet! I miss Brody so much already but it does feel kind of nice to work again. Knowing that he is with grandma makes me feel better about going back!!

He is growing up so fast!! He is reacting to us now! Laughing, smiling and doing his baby talk when we are talking to him! I love it!!! =) He is sleeping a lot better now which makes life a lot easier for Joe and I!!!!!

Hey everyone this is Tara posting for Tami...shes been super busy taking care of her cute lil boy...so Iam posting pics so everyone can finally see her lil bundle of JOY!

ps...it might seem like he sleeps a ton (since he is in all the pics that we have up right now) but believe me im sure Tami wouldn't mind him sleeping a little more! LOL He was born Sep. 16th at 2:03 AM. Weight- 8.14 lbs Length- 21 1/2 inches long. He did have to stay in the NICU for 5 days to watch his breathing (he swallowed fluid when he was born) and temp. but he is happy and healthy now and loves being home with his mommy and daddy! He is such a good baby...but loves spitting up after his feeding...but he actually hasn't spit up since early yesterday so hopefully that continues=] They couldn't be happier and love being parents. So here he is...(ill post pics as soon as she gets some of him awake with his gorgeous eyes!)

Well this is what I look like on my delivery date!!! Brody is due and just does not want to come out. I am trying to wait it out and see if I go into labor on my own this week. Well that's what my Dr recommended. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will start feeling something or that I will feel that trickle run down my leg of my water breaking!! haha

COME ON BRODY..GIVE ME A BREAK!!

Well just a little update with me and Brody!! I am due on Sunday (Sept 7th) but I don't think he is going to make his grand appearance on that day. =( Joe and I went to what was supposed to be my last Dr apt this last Tuesday. Dr Moore checked my cervix again and once again I have not dilated at all. uuuggghhhhhh...I was so bummed and so was Joe. So my next apt which is Tuesday morning, I am going in for fetal monitoring and once again to check and see if I have dilated. SO if things look not so great as in my placenta starting to go bad or I don't have enough fluid for the baby then I will be walking next door to have Brody..if everything is fine then once again I will be waiting it out. My doctor wants me to try to wait a week past my due date to see if my body will do something on it's own!! uughhhhh again. So wish me luck and wish me a water breakage or some light and loving contractions to start this process!!!! hahahaha

Getting a good 4D pic of Brody was so so awesome yet frustrating!! I wanted a perfect image of him and I wanted to know exactly what he is gonna look like!!! (I know I am soo impatient) However my placenta would not get out of the way of his face.=( SO this is the best image that was taken in my opinion. There are shadows and placenta everywhere (hahahaahahaaaa) but you can somewhat see his sweet little face!!!

3 1/2 more weeks until Joe and I get to meet BRODY!!!

I go on my maternity leave August 22nd so I promise I will catch up and post new pictures that weekend!!! I am getting very excited and anxious!!!! =) I hate the unknown though!! Not knowing if my water is going to break or more importantly WHERE it's going to break!! lol Not knowing if I am going to be trying to push Brody out and come to find out that I need to have a C-section, Not knowing what he looks like or how big he is going to be...etc!!! I want to know everything now!!!! hehe I know I need to be patient but it's getting really hard!!

Joe is super excited to become a dad!! He is always rubbing my belly and talking to Brody!! It's so cute!! Even Brooklyn runs over to me and puts her head on my belly!!

I can't wait to become a mom!!! It seems so surreal right now. That I will have my own little baby boy!!! =)

Feel free to leave my ANY suggestions or advice on the best way to get through this labor and delivery!!! =) I am getting super nervous about the pain of the contractions that I am about to endure!!!!

Example:

Tiff - "It feels like your stomach is getting rung out like a wet towel when you twist and ring water out of it"!

Co-workers - "It hurts soooo bad!!! It is the worst pain you will ever come across"

Another co-worker - "I was traumatized by the whole experience. I would do it again but I was traumatized"

My mom - "It's not that bad Tam. I will tell you this though with your sister Tiff about 3 people had to hold me down on the table because I tried my hardest to get out of that room. I was in pain but it's a different kind of pain"!! I think I responded with "Well now that's what you get for not getting the epidural" hehe

I CAN'T WAIT!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHA

Well I just started blogging because my sister Tara would text me all of the time with " Go to my blog and look at this page"!! Or " Go to my blog and look at the baby"!!! So I talked to her yesterday and told her that maybe I should just start my own so I can actually communicate with my friends and family!!! haha So here I am!!!

It will take me a couple of days to get the hang of this and fill out everything but I atleast wanted to set it up for now!!!! =)
